Introduced to Parliament on 8 December 2010, The Energy Bill includes details for the new "Green Deal," which will revolutionise the energy efficiency of UK homes and businesses.The Government is creating a framework to enable private companies to offer the general public improvements relating to the energy efficiency of their homes and businesses with no upfront cost. Instead these 'Installers & Providers' will recoup payments through a charge in installments on the energy bill.
The Government have suggested that the scheme will enable every home or business with energy improvements using a finance allowance of up to £6,500.
